Jet Ski Models

When it comes to recreation in the beach, jet skis are always a part of it. Aside from the purpose of transportation, a jet ski could also give wonders in any beach escapade. Without it, it would not be possible to enjoy water sports, or to explore the wonders of the water.

What Is A Jet Ski?

It is a type of vehicle used in water, and is powered by engines. It runs at a faster speed compared to other motor-driven watercraft.

Jet ski has two types, and these are categorised according to how many passengers it could cater. One type of jet ski is the solo. It could accommodate two persons (however, with the operator standing). Another type is the sport jet ski which could accommodate up to three people.

Recently Available Jet Ski Models

There are three known manufacturers of jet ski in this recent time: Seadoo, Kawasaki, and Yamaha. Here are some of the jet ski models available.

Yamaha VX Sport

This model is perfect for water sports enthusiasts who are on a tight budget. Despite in its affordable price at around $8,000,  Yamaha VX Sport is good for choppy waters and is very ideal for both beginner or expert skiers.

Kawasaki 800 SX-R

This vessel is lightweight- compared to other jet skis, this model is lighter than 400 pounds and could be easily stored in a pick-up truck’s bed, making it easy to be bought almost anywhere. It accommodates only one rider, but unlike other one rider units, this provides more comfort with its handle-pole loaded with springs. 800 SX-R is perfect for beginners. However, with its lightweight feature, this model is not that ideal for choppy waters.

Seadoo RXP-X 255

This is another lightweight watercraft that is very perfect for rookies. However, this feature does not make it less challenging for experts as it glides and bounces in calm waters. However, this model is not advised on choppy waters.

Choosing which model to purchase for that water sport should be done carefully. Consider where to use the watercraft. If you would be going often to the beach, or to places with rough waters, then purchasing a heavier watercraft would be advised. If calm waters is what you like, then lightweight jet skis would be fine.

Lastly, safety precaution should be observed, as well as the manual of the watercraft purchase to avoid possible injuries and accidents.
